Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Always put an interest in food and wine on your resume. Arrive for your interview early, and follow closley behind the interviewer as they lead to the office. Managment strategy views meandering as reluctance to work."

What don't you like about working at Cost Plus?

"The are currently in a pay freeze, and have cut medical/health options for non-managment staff. Turn over is high, the location I worked for had three rounds of seasonal hires quit before black friday. They promote an everchanging litany of sales programs that MUST be mentioned in every transaction, so that every single customer interaction is scripted."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"The drive to promote sales strategies implemented by execuitive management undermines the originality and customer service orientation that the exsisting staff already promotes."
