Fire everyone and start over from scratch. Not only have they mismanaged the finances of the company, there are several other mismanaged areas in the corporation. I have no confidence in most if not all the management starting with the head of Muskegon / Lakeshore headquarters and going right up the chain to Corporate in Jackson. Each headquarters is its own little kingdom run in whatever way the manager deems fit. There is very little continuity from one headquarters to another. The business is run by self serving and pathological liars who are more worried about themselves than they are about their employees or their customers.

2.5 I worked for Consumers Energy for over 5 years and my overall experience is very disappointing. The work culture is not inclusive and there is a great deal of ignorance and intolerance to people from differing cultures and differing background work experiences. The upper management does not promote this type of environment but they are also not involved in eliminating this type of behavior. If you are not local, you will be singled out, harassed, undervalued and unwelcome at the lower levels.

2.5 I worked there for almost 3 years and the company was strange. they would give you metrics that they wanted you to meet and said if you did not meet them that is was a true representation of ways to improve workflow. Then you would get pressure from your supervisor and their supervisor to fug numbers if you had to meet the metrics so the company would look good.
