"Exceptional focus on customer and ethical contract management"
Prudential Review by Residential Sales Expert on
What do you like about working at Prudential?
I enjoy helping clients solve housing problems and having the support and flexibility to do that effectively. The professionalism of this office is exceptional without being overly formal.
What don't you like about working at Prudential?
There are many opportunities to improve efficiency and therefore manage costs. I get frustrated by the lack of technology tools--probably because I spent nearly 20 years building databases that manage workflow! With company resources tight (possibly the worst housing market in 80 years), they have not made the committment to spend on better tools. FYI: this issue exists at ever real estate firm in town and was an opportunity to get out ahead of the others (retool while things are "slow").
What suggestions do you have for management?
(These suggestions have been formally presented.) 1. Implement web-based business process management, documentment management and contact management solutions (ideally integrated by three good systems are better than none) 2. Eliminate large packets of printed "sample" documents by creating short, professional videos orienting clients on all the related contract documents. 3. Create redundant data synchronization across locations to minimize loss and downtime Recent thought, but might relate to the industry as a whole and not just this company: 4. Engage in predictive analytics and amend training programs to implement findings
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
In the current market, residential real estate sales cannot be well done on a part time schedule. Those of us who are succeeding (however modestly) are putting in 50 to 75 hours per week. Remember that other agents are also your "customers" and work to build positive, effective relationships.
"• Highly competitive, organized, disciplined, and goal-oriented self-starter."

What do you like about working at Prudential?
I enjoyed the people I worked with. It was a friendly and fun atmosphere and I actually enjoyed going into work each morning. I felt the leadership team was great as well. They knew all of their employees on a first name basis and tried to make those personal connections. I also enjoyed that fact that the office tried to do community outreach with local organizations.
What don't you like about working at Prudential?
One of the reasons I am leaving is that I felt I was not challenged enough at the job. As a fresh face in the working world, the company offers a great opportunity for a good entry level position; however, after being there for so many years, I felt I was not able to reach my full potential because of the lack of challenge and there was no room for advancement in the company.
What suggestions do you have for management?
I appreciate a work environment where supervisors try to make personal connections with their employees.
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
Just be honest, patient and take your time answering questions.

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
The have a 7 interviews that are very difficult to pass. First, they check your IQ, its kind of like analytical quiestions. Second, telephone interview during which you speak with the clients on the phone. Then interpersonal skills interview where they check how social you are, how can you build rapport with the investors and clients. Next interview with the managing director who is going to ask you the questions why do you like sales, financial services and self-employerment. Then there will be couple other interviews containing general quiestions.
Prudential Review by Executive Assistant to Marty & Melinda Jones in Newport Beach, CA on
What do you like about working at Prudential?
I loved working with Marty and Melinda. I stayed with them for about 7 years and learned the real estate business from them while I was assisting them. I only left them because I needed to be closer to home and wanted to work for an escrow company in order to learn more about that part of the real estate industry and be more effective as a realtor when I began to work as a realtor.
What don't you like about working at Prudential?
I didn't have any health benefits or 401(k), but was covered under my husband's work at the time and was OK with not having any benefits.
What suggestions do you have for management?
None, Marty and Melinda were fabulous to me and I still keep in contact with them.
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"An awesome progressive company if you are a commission mentality."
Prudential Review by Broker Associate in Vernon, CT on
What do you like about working at Prudential?
You are your own boss. Management is there to assist you. I was a top producer for ten years due to the great support of Management. Loved the job.
What don't you like about working at Prudential?
Having no security of pay. Living only on commission income is stressful. No retirement, no benefits. Getting paid had nothing to do with competency, but market conditions and luck.
What suggestions do you have for management?
Should allow agents to have outside employment so they have some cash flow between commissions.
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
Don't expect a lot of training, be ready to learn by doing. Have great time-management skills. Many realtors are bored retired individuals with an income and want to just hang around and talk all day.

Prudential Review by Financial Professional Associate on
What do you like about working at Prudential?
The people are exceptional, the company is a great company, and the long term opportunity is potentially substantial.
What don't you like about working at Prudential?
It is an expensive business to build........compensation is 100% commission, with practice building expenses that are pretty high, and extreme compliance standards.
What suggestions do you have for management?
A "mentor" program where you take a very experienced Financial Advisor and partner them with new Advisors to assist in the business building curve.
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
Simply, be patient, it is a 4-5 year business building process that requires quite a personal investment of money and education.
