What do you like about working at Pfizer?
The amount of training and investing the company put into each of their sales reps.
What don't you like about working at Pfizer?
The availability to actually sell is deminishing throughout the industry. Fewer and fewer opportunities to make an inpact on performance and quotas.
What suggestions do you have for management?
We needed better reports to judge our progress and analyze our territory performance. This would give us better feedback on what techniques were workings and which ones we needed to improve on. It seemed that there iwas a major delay receiving the proper information each quarter on what our quotas were and what we were actually selling.
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
Be professional and ethical in your preparation and execution during the interview. Do some research on the products you may be selling and make sure you can give examples of good selling.

What do you like about working at Pfizer?
I loved the sales and competitive nature, and the training was second to none, current management has weakened this company as of late and may be the overall downfall there of!
What don't you like about working at Pfizer?
top management is sub-par and they are going in a bad direction!
What suggestions do you have for management?
Management needs to look at what they were doing when the company had 30 + years of stock and dividend growth! this company is trying to hard to be P.C. and fit into the current market as a favorable company to to many individuals and groups!!
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
May want to consider another company their goal is to have a small contract work force and sale product over the net!! more Lay-offs are in store and I feel bad for those who are fearing loosing their jobs every other day!

What do you like about working at Pfizer?
Pfizer is a world renowned provider of Pharmaceutical products which surpass the efficacy of many of it competitors. The organization has a good corporate culture that is relaxed yet effective and efficient.
What don't you like about working at Pfizer?
Management Hierarchy as it pertains to IT divisions are adequate at best. The organization does not have a strategy to retain the best IT talent.
What suggestions do you have for management?
The company needs to re-vamp it's IT outsourcing policies to the extent where they will be able to retain proper talent in proper positions. This, I believe will stabilize and enhance the organization internal work culture and lead to a significant increase in overall productivity.

Bring your A game!

What do you like about working at Pfizer?
I like working at pfizer because of the great invirement and the people I meet everyday.
What don't you like about working at Pfizer?
The only thing I really didnt like was the probation period ended and they didnt do the effort to keep me. and I really did a good job,never came late and never missed a day.
What suggestions do you have for management?
Try to focus on the people that really try their best on what their doing so when their probation is almost near to see if they can keep that person or relocate that person somewhere else.

The only thing I recommend to the people interviewing is that give it your best and dont be late or miss any days.

Work/Life Balance, Flexible Hours.

Constant Layoffs and Rehiring cycles every year. My entire department has changed in just under 4 years.
What suggestions do you have for management?
Stability. You can't tell people to just concentrate on their work when they are constantly paranoid that that they are next.
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
Go for it, you'll get good experience, networking, and a severence package if they decide to AtS you. The science there is amazing, so it's a great place if you don't have other options.

If you are proud and speak of flexibility - whether it be a situation in work or home, then practice what you preach. If you speak of open door policy then make the employee feel it rather than a feeling of intimadate amongst all.
What suggestions do you have for management?
The above and having a realistic world of what is happening in the trenches. Step back once and awhile and revisit the ground floor to keep balanced.

It doesn't matter. The vast majority of management will be gone by the time any suggestions are realized.
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
Seek another industry. The same people in the "large" banking industry will be much further along in their careers, at the same 10 year period, and the government will bail them out when they run in to trouble.

It's now a culture of scarcity and a culture of fear. Severe punishment for many different outcomes.
What suggestions do you have for management?
Remember that is the people that do things - things that you cannot outsource. That is going to bite you.
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
Don't. I can not think of anyone who, starting new with the company now, would not think it was one of the worst decisions they have made. Wait until all of this restructuring is over - wait until 2015 before looking to work here.
