What do you like about working at Boston Scientific?

Good clean location, the people were great and all the types of projects which I had to design.

What don't you like about working at Boston Scientific?

The company moving to Mexico and than Costa Rica. There were a few person that only care about them-self.

What suggestions do you have for management?

Listen to co-worker and be a real person. The you are a person and treat people with respect the harder they will work for you.

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

Be honest and remember to keep focus on the sub-rounding of the company. Help all person to active their goals.

What do you like about working at Boston Scientific?

FYI - Boston Sci and Adv Bionics are no longer affilliated, however I felt that it was an excellent working conditions with a lot of opprotunity for growth.

What suggestions do you have for management?

Hold more round table meetings 1 time per month. I feel that if this was an open forum, for each department you would end up with more input due to each area being the company "experts" in that paticular area. I know that a lot of people have some great ideas, but becouse they are shy to speak in front of large groups.

What don't you like about working at Boston Scientific?

Only management make decisions. Secrecy that affects peoples future without them knowing.

What suggestions do you have for management?

Give more voice to workers. Need better HR personnel who can help or knows their job function..Everytime I ask questioned before, it's either I don't know answer or I will ask someone...and they have no interest in helping.

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

You have to have a degree in mechanical engineering or MBA. You need to know someone who can help you from the inside..Try to get in touch with hiring manager and not the recruiter. Recruiter tend to eliminate qualified applicants

What do you like about working at Boston Scientific?

My work at Boston Scientific was a contract. It was an interesting experience, and the work I did there was rewarding in that it helped raise some issues the company was having with quality and to bring everyone together to help solve the problem, or prevent further product quality issues that impact the bottom line.

What suggestions do you have for management?

My contract ended 5 years ago, I have been freelancing since. So much may have changed in that time so I don't know what I think is relevant anymore.

What do you like about working at Boston Scientific?

The some people and some of the technology.

What don't you like about working at Boston Scientific?

The leadership was horrible. The CEO, COO, CFO, and CIO are in it only to make as much money as they could and then wreck the company with their egos!

What suggestions do you have for management?

Fire everyone from all Manger levels all the way up to the top and let the Engineers do their Engineering. Management second guesses the decisions and experiences of the Engineers. Managers are more obsessed with statistics and ignore good engineering practices.

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

If you are a paperpusher you will be right at home.
