"I enjoyed the ability to resolve issues and give great customer service. I had great working relationships with my team members and loan officers, I enjoyed mentoring new team members, helping out on special projects with management."

"Be prepared to work long hours and weekends, to be micromanaged, and to put up with petty politics with over 300 women on the floor."
What don't you like about working at Citibank?
"No managers are on the same page on the protocols and processes in our department. There are too many reports, meetings, training and templates to be filled out, to be productive. There has been mandatory, minimum of 10 hrs overtime each week since last August due to the work load. Management micromanages to the point of being non conducive to productivity."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would beef up the amount of underwriters to processors and make them work at the facility along side the processors where they would be accountable for the work hours and easily accessible to processors and management. I would also look at the processes to see if there were options to streamline some of them and implement procedures that everyone would follow, so getting the loans through processing and underwriting were more cohesive. I would also make the loan officers more accountable for submitting clear and complete files to processing, and also make them more responsible for follow up with their clients."

"Lots of freedom. Any tools needed upon request. Interesting tech once in awhile."

"Hard to self-motivate in that environment. More importance is placed on making friends than completing tasks."
