" It's a dangerous job. Where blame is important. The schedules are unrealistic and you are on call 24/7 and not paid for it. If you make a mistake you will be investigated and blamed and Chevron will be exonerated. Engineers rule at CPL. Operations people are the lowest form of life in Chevron culture. Stay away from operations and you may be ok. Oh, by the way it is easy to get fired - watch out! "
