"Be yourself. The company as a whole is very family oriented and lovely."

What don't you like about working at Centex?

"VERY long hours, bad management (in the Accounting Department) at the time I worked there (all have been fired since I moved on)."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Respect people's need for a family time and time to study after work. This is not possible if you work 7am-7, 8,9 or 10pm! Also be sure to be fair when distributing work. Everyone should be putting in equal time and effort. Get rid of the employees with bad attitudes who aren't producing results. There are plenty of hard-working people out there looking for work."

"Opportunities were abundant"

"A lot of corporate politics"

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I am not familiar with the company now, so that is a moot point"

"This job was a good starter position as it gave you a little of all of the mortgage aspects to work on."

"My supervisor was amazing to work for. This company gave me some expirence in underwriting, audit, processing, and some closing. I like that it introduced more than just the processing part of the industry."

What don't you like about working at Centex?

"I think that due to them having you play so many roles ie: underwriter, processer, audit, closing... one is never really able to be the best at any of the possitions. There was no real form of training."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"There needs to be more training, and more specified roles so that the proper attention can be placed on all aspects of the positions available."

"I was my own person. I had my independence."

"Do your best and give straight forward answers. Be yourself."

"There was nothing that I didn't like about this company."

"I was stuck in Bellevue Washington."

"Need to have more care for worker in the field"

"Fair, with all the things that where happening at the time."

"Lots of new projects and a great team of developers and operations staff. Multiple locations that had input and where willing to work with IT to get the job done right."

"No one in IT works there more than 3 years. Turnover was high for some reason."

"Lead team members turnover."

"Stop passing the buck, someone make a decision."

"Loved working in the group I was assigned. Mark Petersen was an awesome manager. Great location (at that time they were in the Victory Park area of downtown)."

"Some big company bureaucracy."

"They seem to have the products to make things happen, but in house staff i.e underwrites and proccessors slowed things down."
