I enjoyed providing customer service and building relationships with my customers. I also was able to merchandise wall and floor settings.

The pay rate was a little low, but it was a small town store so most associates started out at minumun wage.

Offer training in various departments so employers will have product knowledge of all items sold in the store.

I enjoyed working at Beall's and the management staff always encouraged us to read training material and take the required exams in case an opportunity for advancement became available.

Ask questions and research the company before the interview. Stage stores likes for their employees to know about the company and what they have to offer.
