"Shortly after being hired on, one can easily see how well the bowling alley cares for its customers. Whether they are league bowlers, or open bowlers, the staff tries their hardest to make their experience great."

"Gutter Job for a Career. Get in, get out and get on with your life."

What do you like about working at AMF Bowling Centers?

"The bowlers. Fun vibe, music, opportunity to develop community. I especially liked the workout running from one end of the house to the other."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Great for short term employment. Usually 6 months to 2 years is all the employees can withstand until they want to quit. Fake it 'til you make it, and don't trust anyone."

What don't you like about working at AMF Bowling Centers?

"The turnover, constantly changing prices and specials, and lack of communication (to staff AND customers). Upon hire, they said wage increases and bonuses were available, but after over 3 years I never received a single one."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Communicate to the staff, and take time to get everyone on board before the entire way of doing things has to be changed. If you don't know how to do it, get out of the way of the people who do, and ask for help at an appropriate time. And don't wear high heels."
