"I have worked for American Electric Power for less than a year as a contractor. The experience and knowledge I have gained have been priceless. I would suggest it to others. As a contractor, you get holidays off without pay, but most managers will allow you to make up your hours. Everyone has been very helpful!"

"In the 32 years I worked there it seemed like there was always these huge swings is levels of employment. Figure it out. Letting people go is always bloody."

"Limited career mobility and progression, in part because people don't want to leave!"

"For employees that have been with the firm for several years (decades) it's challenging to change or improve business processes - fighting the that's how we've always done it syndrome."

"There were several re-organizations over the years that I worked there. Because I was not in a visionary role for these changes, decisions were made that I did not understand or agree with."

"The suggestions I had for management were case by case. Some of my suggestions were around resource management, communication, or even project based. I appreciated that I was able to make suggestions at all levels."
