"On the job training and organization in my department was not very good."

"Temp jobs are better than nothing and could lead to something better--although that hasn't happened yet."

"Adecco seems like any other temp service I've run into--it all depends on the particular branch/recruiter you attempt to work with. Many are hard to get/keep in touch with and disappear for weeks/months, while some are very dependable and helpful."

What don't you like about working at Adecco?

"No insurance, no holidays or vacations, and breaks between jobs."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Try to match up people with more suitable jobs--I've had some co-workers who were clearly not prepared/suitable for the jobs they were placed in."

"The fact that as a small business there wasn't too many benefits."

"It was simply a temp assignment with no opportunity for advancement."

"Work on ways to curb employee and management turnover. It seemed I was always reporting to someone new."

"Flexible schedule and work ethic. Great people and good workflow."

"They are good at getting you a job. Just don't expect much in perks or benefits. They are thinking about their bottom line only."

"Never get paid for holidays or being sick or even your own birthday."

"Give back the FTO plan instead of cutting it more and more each year."

"Weekly pay was great and $10.50 an hour was way better than minimum wage."

"After getting that first job once they tell you if you don't like the assignment feel free to let them know, they'll find you something that best fits your interests as soon as possible, just take that as a BIG FAT LIE!!!"

"They fail to find you jobs although you call weekly they seem careless. Recruiters never answer the phones and when you leave voicemails they never call back. EVER!!"

"Allow qualified employees/contractors to express themselves freely while making sure they do their job to the best of their abilities correctly."

"The main tip that I have is to tell others to research the company."

"There wasn't anything not to like, I had no bad days."

"Interesting to learn new device procedures and to see how equipment was managed in the various hospitals."

"Not really. This was an urgent need due to changes in FDA regulations. They took who they found first."

"Different supervisors at different locations. Some were flexible and allowed cross training on all devices. Others were more rigid."

"Flexibility is always good in my opinion, and reduced monotony."

"Great company, have been there for almost 13 years, but there is no room for growth."

"Adecco is a good company to work for , the people are great to get along with."

"No room for growth, I have worked in a few departments but it's been a long time since I learned anything new."

"There is nothing that management can really do, unless a new position was created."

"They left you fending for yourself. Had to call on co-workers for help."

"Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds all day."

"Heavy lifting and very hot parts to check, only worked though a temp service, never could be hired in."

"Vacation and insurance for temp employees, insensitive for advancement and pay raises."

"I really enjoy my career and the field that I am in. I also work with a great team."

"I think the number one thing is to be yourself and be honest. Recruiting and the staffing industry is not for everyone, so be true to yourself before accepting a career that can be very stressful."

"I feel that when you are working at an on-site location it is easy to get ignored over those who work at a field office."

"I think that they need to stop separating our different brands so much and unify them together to be able to win more business at the company's various clients."

"Be careful what is promised. Co. not committed to program."

"Immediate supervisor too distant geographically to solve day to day questions."

"if serious about training investigators, they need to have a hands on supervisor on location as was indicated when hired."

"The people, the support, the culture. The company personnel were engaged top down."

"Be open minded, committed to the company and community service. Be able to demonstrate that there can be a joyful atmosphere in the work environment."

What don't you like about working at Adecco?

"The contract coming to an end. The speed it took to fill key executive positions such as Director of Training."

"Continue to work on team building as the company grows. Try to minimize the barriers that are created with growth."
