"Good company to work for."
"3M is a great place to work"
"Nice place to start your first job"
"Not the company it was years ago."
"There is not much room for growth and no emphasis put on innovation or improvement. The business is stuck on old technologies and methodologies. I don't believe it is a very diverse company or that the company cares for its employees, as there is little opportunity with IT in the US - the work has been outsourced."
"great company, but hard to get anything done because you have to answer to so many people."
"3M is a very good company to work for. Management treats employees well and the benefits are comparable to other companies."
"Very good company to work"
"Excellent company to work for."
"I beleive they are a good company to work with."
"The company has quite a few interesting technical platforms that can be utilized to developing interesting products. There are many good people who are experts in their field. The project manager structure is not efficient and somewhat discouraging, as the PMs are not hands-on and not the real experts in the field, but they are in charge. Average people look up to them, instead of real expertise. Just a bit too much politics."
"3M Company gives the opportunity to every individual to grow along with the pace of the company. This is Canada's top 10 employers. It is a pride to be a part of an organization that contributes its success to the growth of local communities. 3M provides employment to hard-working and deserving co-op students."
"To many management changes . Inefficient"
"Great place to work - competitive pay, highly engaged & friendly staff, and constant growth opportunities truly set 3M apart as an employer in the science/engineering field."
"I've been working for 3M Company since 2014 and I found the project that I am working on to be challenging. We, as a whole team, are very motivated to get the things done and quickly absorb the new processes that allows for better productivity. I have been moving out from SDLC and going into Agile-Scrum for the past 3 years with a phased approach of adding epics & features and plannings related to that. The work life balance is amazing. Technology-wise, 3M does move a bit slowly as compared to the retail giants in outside world, but they do catch up quickly. I would highly recommend 3M."
